Is Chimera Café a physical location or online only?
Chimera Café is an online community hosted on Discord, where creativity and connection flourish among LGBTQIA+, Disabled, and Neurodiverse individuals.
Born from a passion for inclusive crafting, the café serves as a virtual space where members share all kinds of artistry and peer support.

Do you take custom orders for crochet/knit pieces?
Yes, Vesper; our Owner and UK based Crochet Artist does take custom orders for selected crochet and knit pieces. Further information can be found within the descriptions of particular products, so please make sure you read the descriptions.
If you are unable to locate the details you need, please do not hesitate to contact us directly via the contact form or by emailing chimercafe@gmail.com.
We are more than happy to discuss your unique requests and help bring your vision to life.
We also have in house artists who each do a variety of Art styles. You can find these artists, showcased within our Discord community. -

We sell both!

Do you offer tracking on orders?
Yes, tracking is offered for all physical items, with emails containing tracking numbers sent out on the day of dispatch.
Please note that some items are made to order, so it's important to read the listing carefully and allow at least 14 days for the item to be processed before receiving your tracking information.
If you have any questions or uncertainties, do not hesitate to contact us. -
How long will it take to receive my order?
We always aim for fast delivery of products to ensure a smooth and satisfying experience.
Digital products are available for immediate download once purchased; if you encounter any issues, please contact us with your name and order number, and we will promptly ensure you receive your files.
For physical items, especially made-to-order pieces, please allow at least 14 days for processing, which will be clearly stated in the listing before purchase.
After processing, delivery times vary by location:
UK Mainland orders typically arrive within 5 to 7 days after dispatch,
EU orders between 5 and 10 days,
USA deliveries may take longer due to customs and unfortunate tariffs, usually 10 to 14 days but possibly extended.We understand these delays can be frustrating, especially given the current obstacles facing small businesses and our customers.

What is your Return/Refund Policy?
Returns of crochet & knitted items:
Because these are handmade and sometimes custom one-of-a kind:
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery of unused, unworn items in their original condition.
-Buyers are responsible for return postage, unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. (Evidence is required)
-Custom, made-to-order, and Personalized itemscannot be returned unless faulty.
Refunds of crochet & knitted items:
- Once a return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days,
- Refunds are issued to the Original payment method.
-Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of error or damage.
Exchanges of crochet & knitted items:
- Exchanges are offered only for damaged or faulty items
- Please contact us within 48hrs of deliver with photos so we can help quickly.
Non-refundable Items:
The following items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged:
-Digital Pattern PDF Downloads.
The following items cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty:
-Custom or Made-to-order crochet & knitted products
- Sale or Clearance crochet & knitted items.
- Items that show signs of use, wear, or clear malicious damage i.e. yarn being frayed or cut in obscure placements that have no plausible alternative explanation.
Please note:
Any artists that are not Vesper Alean’tlarn; are individual artists with their own terms and conditions and policies for their works.
Chimera Café does not receive any payments from individual artists, and therefore cannot be held responsible or liable for any and all issues with these artists.
However, we can do our best to facilitate lost communication with our individual artists within our community to rectify ongoing issues or queries.
We cannot and will not accept returns or process refunds for items that are not within our means to do so.
