Chimera Café is a virtual craft sanctuary ran by queer, disabled, and neurodivergent makers. Here; we stir creativity into every brew, offer ‘hexies’ with our hexes, and welcome all to a space where creative chaos reigns supreme. This is more than a Discord server or a pop-up stitch-along.
Chimera Café is a living and breathing dream of what a creative community could be; slow, weird, handmade, and radically inclusive.
Who We Are
We are the artists, the witches, the crafters, the gamers, the neurodiverse and the LGBTQIA+ Community building a home for all those in search of a home.
We’re the ones making spell kits by candlelight and baby blankets during full moons.
We’re building a haven for the odd and wonderful; and we want you here with us.
Chimera Café is founded and operated by a tiny team of queer creatives, including Ceòl (our tech-and-operations Goddess), Ash (our future baker and games-witch), and Vesper (your whimsigothic host and creature-in-residence).
Where We’re Headed

We’re conjuring a mobile Chimera Café! A van-turned-traveling-craft-nook that brings handmade joy to festivals, rural towns, and foggy highland roads here in Scotland.
There’ll be yarn, warmth, queer witchy vibes, and probably a lot of glitter.Phase 3: Chimera Grove
A land-based retreat space in Scotland where we’ll grow dye plants, host cosy residencies, and teach old crafts in new ways.
It’ll be accessible, safe, and filled with soft lighting and the sound of laughter over looms and tea.Phase 4: Full Integration
Mobile. Digital. Grounded.
A fully interwoven experience where anyone, anywhere can sip a cup, cast a stitch, and find home with us. Whether it’s through your screen, on the road, or at the Grove.

Support the Baby Banks
Kids Size Items & Donation Process:
For every Kids size item sold, a second item of the same size and colour will be donated to a local baby bank in Edinburgh. This is part of our ongoing commitment to support families in need, sparked by our April 2025 crafting challenge.
But that's not all! All profits from the sale of our kids' items will also be donated to CHAS: Children’s Hospices Across Scotland, helping provide crucial care and support to children and families facing life-limiting conditions.
